Emily is a ‘22 BFA graduate of the College of Saint Rose. They grew up in Rochester, New York,  and are now based in the state’s Capital Region. Their favored medium is silkscreen printing, with works most often taking on sculptural aspects as well.

     Much of Emily’s work begins as personal exploration, but at times they take a broader interest in gender and women’s issues.They less formally explore sculpture, film photography, papermaking, bookmaking, and jewelry crafts.​

 

     Emily is inspired by the work of artists such as Eva Hesse, Lydia Kern, Chung-Im Kim, Marie Weichman, and Olivia Fredericks.
